NEW THIS SEASON

We are doing something different this upcoming season for all our registrations. There will be a mandatory $60 fee added to your registration fees. This fee will take place of the candy fundraisers that we have done in the past to help cover the cost of the compound.

Want to earn your registration fee & mandatory fundraising fee back? When you register, you will get an email from our WYAA Director of Communications about our 2024 WYAA Calendar Fundraiser we are doing this upcoming season. You can make your fees back and even be entered into drawings.

***To not pay the mandatory fee up front, you will need to come to an in-person registration with a post dated check along with cash, check or charge to pay the registration fee. Please see calendar for IN-PERSON registration dates.

REGISTRATION FEES:

Hands On Wiffle Ball (age 3-4 ) – $50

T-Ball (age 5-6) $85

Coach/Modified kid Pitch (age 7-8) $110

Minors (age 9-10) $135

Majors (age 11-12) $135

Juniors (age 13-14) $135

Senior (age 15-18) $200

$60 MANDATORY FUNDRAISING FEE WILL AUTOMATICALLY APPLY AT CHECKOUT

REGISTRATION ENDS FEB. 28TH, 2024

Any Registration AFTER the 28th will be a $25 late entry fee.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Baseball glove, cleats, helmet, bat, water bottle

Westland baseball will provide Jersey, hat, and pants.

Season Information:
Practices will begin in April, weather pending.
Games will begin in May.

Senior division (age 15-18) will start in June, after the High School season is complete

Wiffle Ball will begin in May and run for 4 weeks.

Home games and practice will be held at Westland Jaycee Park, Rotary Park, Voss Park and other local fields pending availability. There will be some travel to other local cities in order to provide more competitive opportunities for our athletes.

Games and practices are typically twice a week and will be scheduled Monday thru Saturday.
Once rosters are complete, your coach will contact you regarding practice times and locations.
Game times and locations will be communicated using our team app.

We are a 100% volunteer organization, and we are always looking for coaches to help mentor our youth. If you are interested, please reach out via email.

In order to keep cost down we will do fundraisers throughout the year; more information will be
provided at the beginning of the season. We ask that all families participate as much as possible.
